Brood X Reviews!

Brood X was my very first novel published in 2013. I am grateful that people are still purchasing and reading the book. Here are some recent reviews. Thank you as always!

5 stars!
"I can't imagine bugs all over. Swarming. ACK, right? Well, this book brings you right there but the book is in today's times. The main characters in the book, a couple named Seth and Lara, are thrown back in to the stone age! They have no electricity, internet, cell phone service. Nothing. Okay, so besides that, bigger issues arise like food and water supply! This book brings you right there with them as the invasion happens. Trillions of insects take over the summer." ~Deborah D.

"WOW....I am speechless. I also lost a nights sleep due to not wanting to put this book down. This book was creepy, and yet extremely addictive. It's not your normal Paranormal Horror Story, but a horror story that could actually happen.

This story is phenomenally well written and very fast paced. Each page turned just sucked me farther into the story. I was shocked and intrigued by the twists and turns of the book. This author has a way to make you feel like you are watching a movie in your head while reading this story and this author also has a way to keep you entertained and yet on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.

*CAUTION* This story is not for the faint of heart, so READER DISCRETION IS ADVISED!" ~JennyB.

4 Stars!
"If you don't like creepy crawly things, you might not make it through this book. The cicadas are here... they are big, mean and they're breeding...everywhere.

Fast paced with strong language, well developed characters and enough scenes with the creepy crawlies to make you sleep with the light on for the rest of your life, Brood X by Michael Phillip Cash is one book I'm glad is marked under fiction.... or is it....?" ~TerryLynn

"Oh, I usually hate books about bugs. No really, but something about this book really made me want to read it. I don’t think I will ever go back outside “peacefully”. This book has a little bit of it all: pregnancy, marriage, humor, friendship, interesting, grossed out, etc. There is definitely enough in this book to keep you turning the pages, and to keep you on your toes, with your ears tuned in. Michael let the book gradually build into the setting, giving us a better understanding of what will happen. I personally think if it wasn’t for the gradual build than the reader would lose understanding, so I think he did a great job with timing it out perfectly." ~WJ
